Sacred Heart High School's girls' basketball head coach Ron Picard and his staff will host the Hearts Hoops Skills Camp July 13-16 for girls entering the  4th-9th Grade July 13-16. Camp will run from 9:30 am – 11:30 am for grades 4, 5, 6 and 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm for grades 7, 8 , 9. You could say that Mark Saukas is all Hearts. For nine years he attended Sacred Heart Grammar School. For four years he was a student at Sacred Heart High School. For the past 41 years he has been a teacher, guidance counselor, and most famously, a baseball coach for the Hearts. Saukas’ only separation from his beloved SHHS was the four years he spent at Providence College. But last week the unthinkable became official: Saukas has stepped down as Hearts baseball coach after an astonishing 36 seasons.
