Sacred Heart High School faculty, staff and students took part in their annual “Maroon and Gold Casual Day of Giving” on January 29th. The $5 Casual Day was held during Catholic Schools Week and served as a wonderful opportunity for the Sacred Heart High school family to come together to give back to a place that means so much to so many! Over $1500.00 was raised to support tuition assistance which awarded over $850,000 this past year.
The sophomore class raised the most dollars and will be rewarded with a pizza party before spring break in April!
Sacred Heart High School would not be what we are today without our successful and supportive alumni, dedicated school parents, wonderful business friends, a spirited student body, a committed administration, and caring and dedicated faculty and staff. Funds raised were added to the Annual Appeal’s $100,000 challenge for December and January. A very generous alumni donor offered a $100,000.00 challenge for this year’s Annual Appeal if we raised $100,000! The challenge was graciously met! We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for your spirited generosity and participation!
