On Wednesday, March 14th at 10:00 a.m., Sacred Heart High School, in collaboration with St. Mary’s School held a prayer service for peace to commemorate the one-month anniversary of the tragedy at Stoneham Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

According to Mrs. Eileen Regan, President, the Sacred Heart School administration, faculty, staff, and students, along with seventh and eighth grade students and their teachers from St. Mary’s School held the prayer service in front Sacred Heart High School to remember the 17 fallen victims and their families. The service was celebrated in part by Reverend Christopher Ford, Rector of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Reverend Mauricio Galvis, Chaplain at Sacred Heart High School, and Campus Minister, Mr. Dan Matthews. Students read each of the victim’s names and paused for a moment of silence.
